Drywall Repair

Patches, holes, cracks, and seamless drywall repairs ready for paint.

Holes, cracks, and water stains never look smaller the longer they sit. We patch, tape, mud, and sand so the repair disappears into the wall instead of announcing itself as a square on the paint.

A proper patch is only finished when it is ready for interior painting. If the damage came from a leak, we make sure the water is actually stopped — often as part of a plumbing repair — before we close the wall.

What's included

  • Nail pops, dents, and doorknob holes
  • Crack repair and corner bead fixes
  • Water-damage patches after the leak is stopped
  • Texture blend where the surrounding wall allows
  • Sanding and primer-ready surfaces
  • Small section replacements, not just skim coats

How we handle it

  1. 01

    Cut back to sound board

We remove the damaged area instead of mudding over a soft or stained patch that will telegraph through later.

  2. 02

    Patch, tape, and mud

The new piece is fastened, taped, and built up in coats so the joint stays flat with the existing wall.

  3. 03

    Sand and blend

We sand, check the light across the surface, and leave it primed or ready for paint so you are not fighting flash or ridges.

Common questions

Will I still see the patch after it is painted?

That is the whole point of doing it correctly. Good lighting and a matching texture make the repair disappear. Cheap one-coat patches do not.

Can you match orange peel or knockdown texture?

Usually, yes, on small to mid-size repairs. We will be honest if the existing texture is too unique to blend invisibly.

Should I paint the whole wall or just the patch?

A full wall or room coat hides sheen differences. If you are already planning paint, have us do the patch first, then the paint in the same visit or the next one.
